You will yet be the glory of the East; would that I could come again, Karachi, to see you in your grandeur'.

The famed words of a great man predicted this once tiny fishing village surrounded by the Arabian Sea would become a queen of cities. The present city of Karachi has risen to high standards, be it with regard to culture, education or commerce.

Karachi is the largest city in Pakistan and the capital of Sindh Province. It is also the primary commercial city in Pakistan. From dining out to shopping, vibrant nightlife to sunny beaches, and activities such as golf, horse racing, deep-sea angling, and yachting, this cosmopolitan city with its fast-paced lifestyle keeps visitors entertained with a variety of attractions and activities.

Karachi is a city populated by 20 million residents, recording itself as among the largest metropolises in the world. The city is enriched by the rivers Malir and Liyari and several small islands protect Karachi’s natural harbour. Karachi focuses mainly on the industries of textile manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, steel and automobiles. The city is also known to be a software outsourcing hub in Pakistan.

Karachi is different from the rest of Pakistan in the same way that New York is different from the rest of the United States. The pace of life is more hurried; time is money, and money is life. It is comparable to other Asian cities, such asMumbai. Karachi is a huge city with several districts.Karachi is a division.Districts of Karachi division are as follow:
  • South Karachi (Clifton, Defence and Saddar)

Contains Karachi's downtown area and is considered as the heart of Karachi. The richest neighborhoods in the country are located here, which command among the highest property rates in the world.

  • North Karachi (North Nazimabad, FB Area, Maymar, Orangi)

Primarily a middle-class area, except for Orangi, This area developed immediately after Pakistan's independence, because of a wave of immigration. Part of the migrants.

  • West Karachi (PECHS, Gulshan, Johar, Korangi, Shahrahe Faisal)

Contains Karachi's other downtown and is home to those rich who want to have a more peaceful surrounding. Home to Karachi's largest shopping district, the tariq road, largest amusement parks, hospitals and the famous expo center. This is also where the city's airports are.

  • East Karachi (Chundrigar, SITE, Kharadar, Lyari, Kemari)

Karachi's Industrial heartland and center of white-collar office location. Home to Karachi's tallest skyscrapers and historical architecture.

  • Malir district/Cantonment

Malir has been regarded in history as the countryside of Karachi City due to its open atmosphere and lush green farms, but now these are no more.
