	Karachi Metropolitan Corporation’s Spokesman Ali Hassan Sajid on Thursday warned those who are spreading fake and fabricated news about ‘’deteriorated’’ health of female elephant at Safari to refrain from taking donations or else legal proceedings would be initiated against them. The spokesman said health of female elephant is satisfactory and her foot got dried earlier due to cold weather has now been recovered. The spokesman said that veterinary doctors of KMC are regularly checking the elephant and termed her health as satisfactory. The Spokesman warned such people from running fake news on social media or else legal action would be taken against them. Sajid said that a NGO ran a campaign to collect 30,000 US Dollars for treatment of the female elephant. "The KMC neither sought NGO's help nor permitted it for the treatment. The FIR is going to be lodged against the NGO for running fake and fabricated news," he added. The Spokesman also asked the people not to give donation to such NGOs.
