In a press conference held in the Karachi press club on Tuesday to inaugurate this campaign, Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar thanked the Indus Hospital Team to provide their expertise and cooperation for this campaign to make Karachi a rabies free city. He said more funds will be provided for this work which has become essential to save the citizens lives after suffering from rabies. He said in the first phase this campaign will be carried out in Ibrahim Haideri due to the reason that the Korangi and adjacent areas have been suffered more with dog biting incidents after which this work will spread in all over the city.
