	Administrator Karachi Laeeq Ahmed has said that the fumigation campaign would continue across the city with the cooperation of Sailani Welfare Trust. This campaign would continue for a month so as to eradicate germs and viruses from the city. On Saturday, the fumigation was done in Rerhi Goth, Orangi No.05 to Sector 12, Qasba Colony, Pathan Colony, and Numaish. 12 vehicles and staffers took part in the campaign. The Administrator said that in this season, fumigation is very essential. It is responsibility of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation to protect the citizens from mosquitos and germs, adding that lethargy would not be tolerated in this regard. Ahmed said that those social and welfare organizations that want to work for the city would be welcomed. "This is a city of all of us and every citizen should play its due role," he added. The Administrator said that they are in contact with different welfare and social organizations and providing them full assistance. He directed the Director Public Health to ensure that fumigation is done in each and every area. The spray should be conducted manually in narrow streets. Ahmed said that Karachi Metropolitan Corporation is taking measures for road reconstruction, repairing street lights, establishing new cemeteries, and carrying out fumigation.
